Projects!

OK, I know I've gotten away from the subject of quilts. I do have a wall hanging in the works, but I don't want to post a picture of it until it's finished. And meantime, I seem to have been bitten by the knitting bug!! I started a crocheted cape for Sue, but then I also started a new knitted shawl for me! Here's a picture of the royal blue one I made recently!  I love this pattern! It's from Ravelry and is called TGV which is the French(?) letters for High Speed Knitting. The yarn is Lion Brand Micro Spun (DK weight) and it's great!!

NEW RAFFLE QUILT FOR GATLINBURG

Here is the raffle quilt for the Gatlinburg dance in May, 2012. Made from t-shirts donated by dancers from Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Queen size, about 90" x 90". Tickets may be had from Ace McGee, Ann Gurley or Matt Temples.
